Responses and insights
Once a participant finishes, Ear3 processes their session asynchronously. Response lifecycle in the dashboard:
- IN_PROGRESS → participant is still in the interview
- COMPLETED → session finished, transcript ready
- PROCESSING → transcripts / analysis being computed
- PROCESSED → insights + summaries available
Each response contains structured question–answer pairs, timestamps,
transcripts (voice mode), an optional audio recording, and any
metadata you passed in when embedding.
Insights are aggregated across responses and include a summary, supporting quotes with participant refs, and a confidence score (0.00–1.00). You can also run ad-hoc Query questions over the transcripts.
Exports are available as JSON or CSV. For programmatic access after
completion, use ear3.sessions.retrieve(sessionId) from
@ear3/server — it returns the same metadata, url, and status fields.
